The Beasley Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) Executive Board would like to welcome you to the 2010-2011 school year at Beasley Elementary!
Congratulations, since your child is enrolled at Beasley Elementary you are automatically a PTO member.
The PTO is dedicated to making Beasley a better learning experience for our children. There are several fundraising events throughout the year, which help us provide many services and supplies that benefit the school and our children.
Beasley PTO provides activities for Beasley and their families such as Beasley’s Fall Festival, Trivia Night, Trunk-Or-Treat, Fine Arts Day, Abilities Day, Science Night, Grandparents Day, Field Day, Halloween parties, Winter parties, Valentine’s parties and so much more. Beasley PTO actively fundraises through various events such as Box Tops, fundraisers, Beasley Sportswear, T. J’s pizza, and our bi-weekly Gift Card Program. These funds enable us to offer numerous programs and events, all for the improvement of your students’ education. Beasley PTO offers grants to our teachers to assist them in stocking their classrooms with needed special projects and learning supplies. Beasley PTO also offers financial support to many of our projects and needs for Beasley.
As each event approaches, letters will be sent home in Wednesday Folders asking for Volunteers. There are many ways you can help with PTO sponsored events whether you are available days or evenings we need your help. We can work around everyone’s schedule!
If you would like to volunteer with any of the events please come to our PTO meetings and/or call the coordinator and let them know that you are interested in helping. Without the helping hands of our Beasley families these events couldn’t take place. As you can see Beasley PTO is “Leaving Our Prints All over the place.”
Beasley PTO is always looking for Beasley PTO volunteers to help us plan and volunteer at any, some or many of our sponsored events. All parents are a part of Beasley PTO; however, if you are interested in more information you may contact Dawn Townsend at 845-1562. We encourage all parents to attend our monthly PTO meetings.
Our monthly meetings are open to any parents or school staff members who want to know more about us and our school, or are interested in helping us coordinate events and activities. Meetings are held on the second Tuesday each month, and take place in the school library beginning at 6:30 p.m. We will have free babysitting provided and welcomed arms to help us represent our school.
We invite everyone come join us. We are eager to join ranks with all of our Beasley parents to help our school and improve it any way we can!
